Mediatization

MEDIATIZATION OF THE YOUTH
(Rev. Fr. Christian Buenafe, O’cram)

Matters that influence the modern youth culture are the media. There are kind of forms media; Broadcast media, Falk/Traditional media, Electronic media and so on which enrich our social lives. These are the overall characteristic and medium of the multimedia.
Internet contributes a lot in the world media. It becomes a channel or medium that gives every people around the world sense of connection. Internet lead us to live easy and open-minded phases of life, wherever we go and whatever we will do, we are not ashamed to take risks in this world media.
Individuals use the internet for communication, entertainment, finding information, buying and selling good and services. Internet speeds communication between companies, among coworkers and among other individuals. Media is a medium for our grown environment that affects our lives to become updated.
Today, the technology is the best way for transport message using by internet to communicate people. It enables individuals or groups of individuals to quickly exchange messages, even if they are separated by long distances.

The “Hapag ng Pag-asa” by Joey Velasco was the most amazing good medium for the youth. It is the story of unfortunate children that the painter draws on his canvass together with our lord Jesus Christ instead of the typical last supper. It contains a pleasant reality on what does the true meaning of life. It brought me a good realization and touched our heart that there are such matters needs to have attention. I realized that we need to be thankful to our creator for given us opportunity to have what we wants in life. We should pray to God for He is always there at our side who protecting and guiding us in every moment of our lives. We should be humble and generous to all. We all knew that we seen and touched is Gods made and we have nothing without God plan and command.
